On Saturday, the 25th of July was one of the best skate competitions I’ve been to in a really long time. Maybe it’s because I was skating in it, I dunno. But what I do know is that some serious shredding went down. One thing I love about skate competitions is that you see people get into the zone and become totally present when they are skating. They end up pulling out some tricks that seriously blow the mind sometimes.

I skated in the Gap To Box section and freakin’ killed it. But the trick of the day has to go either Bryan with the Bs 360 over the gap to box or the Treflip Noseslide by Greg Love. Both were incredible. With that said I hope you enjoy the video.

yes! i only tried skateboarding once, but when i did (before i fell and hurt my ankle!!) i totally felt the zone. it was so surreal. i loved it! i totally can see how this can be an awesome addiction. i love skateboarders.

lol, you know first time I skated I fell straight on my ass. But I couldn't give up. I've torn countless ligaments in my ankles, thrown out my lower back, had gashes in my hands, and even sacked it on a handrail before. But none of that stuff can hold you back if it's something you truly love. "You Gotta Pay To Play!"

But yes, skateboarding puts you in The Zone, or The Now more than anything I've found in my life. It lets me become free, release stress and experience a little bit of bliss.

Lol, I was wearing the black polo when we are skating the gap to box. I came in and killed it really quick with some fresh tricks.
