The next time a politician uses the word “billion” in a casual manner, think about how much that really is…

One Billion seconds ago is was 1977.

One Billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.

One Billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the stone age.

One Billion days ago no one walked the earth on two feet.

One Billion dollars ago was only 6 hours & twenty minutes at the rate our government spends it.

When you really stop and just think for a moment about how much a billion dollars really is you realize the magnitude of how much that really is. Having one billion dollars would mean financial security for the rest of your life.

Spending one billions dollars would mean you’re either buying a private island or funding a war.

Most people will never see anything close to this amount of money in their entire lifetimes yet the government spends more that one billion every six hours.

If you have one billions dollars how would you spend it and what would you do with it?

Holly Crap. I did not think that the government spent that much that fast. That is crazy.

If I had 1 billion dollars I would have no idea what I would spend it all on. I do know that I would build the house that I have drawn out and take my family on a trip. But no a billion dollar trip. haha.
