What the heck is a Permalink?

That’s was my first question when I heard that word. I knew it had something to do with WordPress and probably something to do with links but I honestly had no clue what that was…

Later I found out that a Permalink is actually the part of your URL that is unique to your post. This is one of the most important things Google looks at when determining your SEO ranking. This is why you want to make sure that your pages Permalinks are always close to what your writing about.
