Twitter definitively deserves it. In my humble opinion they have changed the web by integrating a simple callout feature via @(insert your twitter user name here) which Facebook quickly adopted and will soon integrate throughout the web.

Thanks Scott, that is exactly why I put together articles like this. As you know the web is changing at such a rapid place that it's nice to have a centralized location to hang out and get up to date on all kinds of great info and changes that have taken place.

The two guys who launched Twitter were searching for a gold mine and it looks like they have just found it. The advantages of local trending topics is huge and we'll soon wonder how we lived without it.

I'm sure you are right, Matthew, Twitter is going to make a killing and it sure is a great way for them to take advantage of the huge audience they have. Someone sure had a good idea and with the full implementation of that idea, they deserve all the rewards that will be coming there way.
