Life Throws Curve Balls
Have you ever been confronted with a decision in life that would potentially determine the outcome of the rest of your career?
Now many people would say yes, thinking that small things like who they are going on a date with this weekend actually matter. Not to say it doesn’t because that could be your soul mate, not not likely.
But I’m talking about bigger things here. Like what happens when you make a decision to choose one business over the other.
While both potential clients are off the hook sometimes you have to choose what’s in your best interest. Having nothing against either party you can’t help but realize what you must do.
And what you must do involves creating and positioning yourself as a true expert in your field.
This requires being at the tip top of your game. You need to be associating with people who are on the top of their game as well.
An in turn you will be complimented by their sill sets and above average attributes.
Remember, the people you associate with determine the type of reputation you receive.
Who you associate with is how you will be perceived in the marketplace.
If you don’t want that type of rep, then don’t do it.
But if you do then please, by all means attack the market place and let people know that you’re serious about your business.
This is how you will stand out as a leader. Create a sense of authority (as weird as it sounds) and people will follow you. People want a leader even if they say they don’t.
People need someone to follow. They need someone to lead them and someone to take them to a higher level.
If that’s you then create an image online that makes others believe that. Only catch is that it has to be true. You have to be living it otherwise it’s going to be completely fake and people will see straight through you.
Be real, be yourself, and most important of all, tell the truth in business.
