Why You Should NEVER Ignore A Guru Sales Video Or Email
I know you’ve seen those annoying emails in your inbox… “Open Now And You’ll Make $100K” or something along those lines only to find the body of the of the email saying stuff like “GO GO GO, IT’S LIVE!” and then spamming you with as many links that can possible fit in an email.
Then, if you actually do click any of the links, you’re taken to a sales video where you’re basically shown these shocking income claims of hundreds of thousands of dollars generated in just a matter of days. It’s crazy, and they even blow me away sometimes. The sales page then goes on to tell you that if you just buy this one product about something like $37 bucks, you’ll make that much money too, just by clicking a few buttons.
I probably hate those just as much, if not MORE than you do. Yet, while I am sometimes tempted to unsubscribe from all the hype I get in my inbox everyday, I DO NOT.
You see, most of these Guru sales videos and emails are targeting the ultra-newb, or in other words, the person who has JUST BARLEY came online and is searching for a way to make money using the Internet. These sales pages play on the emotions of the newbie marketer (who doesn’t know any better) and sells them a product that usually “kind of” works well, but usually worked best before EVERYONE bought it.
Usually what you see happen after a major product launches, and everyone buys the system or new software, the market becomes saturated with this new trend and it becomes A LOT harder to make money using that new tool, simply because everyone is now using it.
What Is A Guru?
So why do I stay subscribed to these lists and watch all the sales videos?
The answer is simple, it’s educational.
You have to look at the sales message from a different perspective. Instead of letting it sell YOU, see HOW and WHY it sells you. Understand the sales message, the language, the sales tactics used, the scarcity tactics, and most importantly, why you would buy the product.
In order to be successful in this rapidly changing Internet Marketing world, you have to stay up to date on what the competition is doing and how they are marketing. Sometimes it seems like there is a new marketing strategy out every week, or every day even.
It’s your job as a marketer to really absorb this new stuff, sift through the BS, the HYPE, and the ridiculous income claims and see if there truly is any gold laying there on the other side of that Clickbank order form.
But never forget, ALWAYS be studying your competition and how they run their business. And then do it better yourself.
Web Page Marketing
What Is Web Page Marketing?
One of the most important things about having a web page online is your Web Page Marketing. Meaning, how are you going to market your web page to the billions of others out there online these days?
Web Page Marketing can be tough if you don’t know what your doing yet. And I don’t blame ya because its tough to find good information out there online sometimes. My objective here today is to help you better understand exactly what Web Page Marketing is and how you can utilize it to get more traffic to your site and more sales for your business.
Whats really cool is that Web Page Marketing and be done even if you have an offline business, in fact, in many different situations it will be a lot easier to get your web page ranked in the search engines, like Google, because there is a lot less competition.
For example, I currently live in Fresno, California and let’s say that I have an autoshop business. But due to the economy and what not I’ve gotta travel outta town all the time to get good business. Its annoying, its complicated and really just more of a hassle than its worth.
I’m also aware of the power the Internet holds to do some serious Web Page Marketing for my business. So I start doing some research and come across a ton of great information on sites like MatthewNeer.com
What I discovered that in order to do Web Page Marketing the right way I would need to target certain keywords that people would type into the search engines and then optimize my web page to come up first. I also found that keywords like auto repair and other related keywords were really saturated with competition already, so getting a first page rankings would we really hard.
However, I don’t want someone who lives in New York to come to my web page if I’m trying to repair their car in California right? That would be crazy.
So because of the geography my keyword now changes from auto repair to Fresno auto repair which has FAR LESS competition than the other keyword which is more broad.
Therefore, my web page marketing would consist of a web page that talks about Fresno Auto Repair and maybe gives the visitor a couple great tips for fixing the problem on their own or something along those lines, then directs them to call the shop to setup an appointment to come in and get their car fixed up.
Can you see how much potential this could give to an offline business? This can work for virtually ANY business and ANY niche out there online or offline.
If you wanna learn more about online marketing and how it can benefit your business, I highly recommend you check out my Money Makin’ Mini Course because it will teach you exactly how to build these little niche sites we were just talking about.

Good evening fellow entrepreneurs,
If you’ve ever thought about who the most influential companies are these days?
When you do, what comes to mind?
I think everyone would agree that the biggest names that come to mind are things like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, MySpace, and many many others. And guess what all those websites have in common… They were all developed by some young kids under the age of 30.
Pretty impressive eh?
Another thing to take note of is the fact that some of the LARGEST companies in the world were developed by college dropouts. Can you guess what those are?
Apple and Microsoft, among many others. Both of those two companies were started in a garage and both Steve Jobs and Bill Gates dropped out of college to pursue their dream of creating a giant computer company. And both have succeeded in more ways than one.
Steve Jobs has singlehandedly reinvented the music industry with the iPod. A few years ago literally EVERY single kid had an iPod under their Christmas tree. Then Jobs continued on to reinvent the phone releasing the iPhone in early 2007. Today we’ve got the iPhone 4 and tons of others competitors trying to do the exact same thing like all the Android phones out there, which are actually pretty darn cool.
Bill Gates had pretty much monopolized the computer industry in the early 90s. It wasn’t until Apple started coming up in the game that Bill Gates and Microsoft started lightening the stronghold. At that point, Microsoft decided to get into the video game market and release the Xbox, totally competing with PlayStation and the other competitors in the market. Since then, Microsoft has reinvented gaming with Xbox Connect, making YOU the controller. (I’m sure you’ve seen the commericials)
Anyways, the point to this whole article is this… Technology is where the MONEY is at. It’s where the OPPORTUNITY is at. And its where YOU need to be, if you’re interested in being on the cutting edge of the world these days.
It seems that young entrepreneurs have REALLY embraced this very well. They have taken to technology and computers like and old guys takes to the newspaper in the morning.
It’s for this reason that you’ve seen the create these awesome websites like Facebook and YouTube. They saw a need there and they filled it with the knowledge they had about computers and grew multibilion dollar corporations because of it.
My question to you is… How you can fill a need in YOUR life using technology, or really anything that would really help people but would also make you TONS of money and create a very profitable business.
I wanna know what you think in a comment below. Tell me how you are helping to change the world with your ideas and how these ideas will better the lives of many other people around the world.
What you got? I wanna know and so does the world. Lay it all down in the comments section below.

Make Money In The Streets
I think one of the least talked about ways of making money online has to be promoting on the street. The reason is because as soon as the Internet became popular it was literally kicked to the curb!
Originally, everyone was making money on the streets, either by handing out flyers, or placing lawn signs everywhere.
If I were to tell you that you could still make money by doing this, you’d probably call me nuts!
Well, if you really want to think that, go ahead because I think this needs to be talked about. If you want to make a lot of money extremely quickly, do this, I promise it works!
What I want you to do first is go to a website called ClickBank and sign up (it’s free). What they do is manage a bunch of different products that you can promote for a commission.
All you need to do is send traffic (people) to that product page, and if they buy, you make your commission. The correct term for it is, becoming an affiliate.
Now the good part… Once you’ve done that, the promoting on the streets comes into place. After you pick a product that you want to promote on ClickBank, I want you to open up Microsoft Word, Notepad, whatever you use on the computer to write things.
You will need to write 2 sentences about the product you are promoting, and make it catchy! Make the font extremely big and bold so that people can read it from far away. Then place your custom link to the product you are promoting at the bottom of it. (It’s called your “Hoplink” and ClickBank creates it for you, it’s extremely easy.)
Now after you have done that, I want you to print out about 100 of these. Fold them in half and take them with you on a walk around your neighbor hood. When you’re walking, place them on the windshields of parked cars…
After you’ve run out, go home and log into you ClickBank account later that night. I guarantee you’ll be surprised! This is exactly how I started affiliate marketing. I know you’re probably thinking that this would never work and that it’s a waste of time.
Well let me tell you something. When I used to do this, for every 100 I would hand out, I’d get around 10 people buying. So lets say that I received $50 a sale. I would make $500 dollars every time I’d go out and do this! Sounds a little more appealing now, right? So go out and do this, I promise you if you just try it, you’ll start seeing great results immediately.

Read MoreTake Off The Corporate Mask And Be Real
When most newbies some online for the first time they tend to create websites rather than focus on joining forums, using autoresponders, and such so that’s what we are going to talk about here today.
First off, please ignore the overwhemling urge to focus all your efforts on the look and feel of your website. To many newcomers get distracted from whats really important and focus on creating websites that bling with flashy graphics, fancy drop down menus, full on multimedia presentations, and matching text and background colors while lacking any personality and substance whatsoever.
So rather than trying to look like an Internet giant why don’t you capitalize on how small you are and that you aren’t slick?
How you ask?
By demonstrating that you aren’t some faceless corporate giant but instead an actual live human being with a real and true passion for the products or services that you offer. And you do this not through snazzy technology and web design but through good old fashioned copy.
There is nothing that will turn someone off quicker than a niche website that has this outstanding look to it but offers very little value. Especially if the author of the website doesn’t actively show their face. If not on the home page but at the very least on the about me page. This has become sort of a standard for small blogs and niche websites lately, you need to be real with people.
Social Media is taking that concept to a whole another level. Social Media is meant to be used to socialize with people and your peers. Not to directly pitch products and services to people. So with that said, it only makes perfect sense to brand yourself as an icon linking everything back to your blog, your nerve center, which is the place where you host all of your content.
By following this formula you will be perceived as a leading authority figure in your niche and on the web. People that stumble across your blog from all walks of the web will realize how passionate your content really is and will probably syndicate you via Social Media too, thus creating more buzz to your website.
And second, don’t rely solely on your website to do your sales job. While developing a fully automated sales website is certainly a great thing and very possible you should not make this your immediate goal when your first starting out.
Instead you should incorporate a more traditional forms of media into your marketing like giving your readers an option to physically buy your ebook and snail-mail them a hard copy that they can tangibly hold in their hands. Give them a ph0ne number to reach your by where you can either personally answer the line or have it reach a recorded message that tells them how they can gain more information on the subject they are calling about.
Why do this you say?
Because by implementing these “old school” tactics into your marketing it will help establish a better sense of credibility for your business. With so many scams, schemes, and spam out there this will really set you apart from the bunch, people will know that your not some fly by night business who’s going to disappear tomorrow.
Sure the Internet will attract the attention of those in the high tech world but in the end every single person who comes in contact with your offer and your website is another flesh and blood human being who likes doing business with another flesh and blood human being.
That is all…
