#1 On Google In 24 Hours

Hey whats up?

I have recently been doing some speculation about Google and how it ranks websites.

And after having a few niche sites of mine stuck on Page 2 of Google and just not being able to pop Page 1, despite how many links I run to the site, I have come to a new conclusion.

Google doesn’t just want keyword rich content on a WordPress blog anymore. They want MULTIMEDIA!

Google wants to see a combination of text, images and video. So by having all 3 of those, you will be able to really play towards Google’s likings. Also, another critical factor you should be aware of is social interaction. Daddy G wants to see people not only hitting your site, but sharing it like crazy on Facebook, Twitter and the other social sites.

As you will see in the case study video below, I not only have all 3 pieces of the multimedia trifecta, but I also have gotten a ton of Facebook shares, which resulted in a first page Google ranking in less than 24 hours.

My site went from getting 30-60 hits per day, to over 1,500 and climbing to day. I literally have had a traffic explosion in the past 2 days, all as a result of this new little strategy I have implemented on my site.

Watch the video below now to see exactly how I’ve done it.

YouTube Preview Image

As you can see, being the first person to get a piece of content up there is very important. In this particular case, at the time of writing this, I am the ONLY blog online featuring this full length video part, and because of that, everyone that comes across it, is sharing it with all of their friends.

This is viral marketing truly at its best.

Nothing is more powerful than having an extremely scarce piece of content that is in extremely high demand, and giving it away for free. DAMN! Thats HOTT!

Hope you learned a lot from this post today, please leave comment below and lets get the discussion started!

Talk soon,
Matthew

The Biggest Secret To SEO And Backlink Getting, EVER!

Posted by MatthewNeer on Oct 31, 2011 in SEO | 1 comment

The Biggest Secret To SEO And Backlink Getting, EVER!

I’m gonna go ahead and get straight to the point in this post because I know how frustrating it can be once you’ve built your niche site but just cannot seem to get the dang thing ranked, at all. Sometimes it doesn’t even show up ANYWHERE in Google for months at a time, and most the of the time, the reason why is because you don’t have backlinks…

Why Google Ranks Websites High And Others Low

You see, back in the day, when AdSense first hit the scene, people were able to just put a bunch of AdSense Ads on their site and Google would rank them super high because obviously they wanted to drive traffic to their advertisers. Yet overtime, search began to get stupid and they had to make some major adjustments to their algorithm.

The big change their made was creating it so that websites that has the most other sites linking to them would be ranked the highest.

So for example, if YourSite.com has 100 inbound links and YourCompetitor.com only has like 50 links, you would win and out rank them.

Search Got Stupid Again…

What happened next was that people would just find or create ways to generate thousands of links a day to their sites or more and keep out rankings each other. After a little bit of time passed, as you could image, search go stupid again.

Google has to rethink their search algorithm again…

This time they created something called PageRank or PR for short. Essentially what this did was give sites a “value” or “authority” meaning that sites that have been around for years and have nothing but high quality content would get a higher PR ranking than others. Google scores PR on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest possible ranking.

PR also scales in link authority, meaning that links coming from high PR sites are much more valuable than links from a site with no PR. In fact, a site with a PR of 1 is 100 times more valuable than a site with a PR of 0, and it scales exponentially as PR grows making a link from a site with a PR of 9 or 10 worth the most of all.

PR would then pass through that link to the website it was linking to, giving it massive link juice and boosting it up the search engines extremely rapidly.

Yet Another Algorithm Change

Once webmasters and marketers figured this out, they started doing things like creating thousands of fake Google account profiles and YouTube accounts and basically any other site with high PR, just so they could get links back to their sites and rank high in Google.

Again, as you could image, once Google caught on to this, they found potentially millions of fake accounts and had to make another big change to keep people from abusing the system yet again.

This time, they created was is known as DoFollow and NoFollow links.

What this did was basically regulate the passing of PR juice and it would give webmasters the choice to allow their sites PR to get passed through people who left links on their site in the form of a comment or guest blog post. This was an interesting choice because this was really the first time that Google gave such a large piece of this to everyday webmasters.

I guess they figured that it was better to let people make their choice themselves and let THEM regulate it instead of trying to manage millions of spam comments and bogus links themselves. Potentially a genius move on their part.

Where Search Stands Right Now

There have been a few other major updates lately such as giving a lot of weight to human interaction, in the form of leaving comments or sharing their sites on social media among other things. But for the most part, Google will still give you a lot of high rankings if you just focus on getting super high quality links and point those back to your money niche sites.

Some great places to get these are sites like Squidoo, HubPages, InfoBarrel, BlogSpot,WordPress.com and many others that let you create free blog accounts on their high PR sites. Doing this will get you some massive link juice initially, but if you do too many of these, it will ultimately look a little bit spammy to Google over time and thats not what they want.

At the end of the day, Google wants high quality backlinks that come in a natural way. You need to mix things up. You need to get blog comment backlinks, you need profile backlinks, links from article sites and other web 2.0 properties like Squidoo.

The Secret Backlink Strategy No One Knows About

What I’ve been testing like crazy right now and many other SEO ninjas have as well is getting your high quality backlinks, backlinks.

In other words, your BACKLINKS need their own BACKLINKS.

What you wanna do first is create a network of high quality sites like the diagram below.

All of those sites right there are all great places to go create profiles and get backlinks from. When you do this, you will see your site start to climb the rankings very quickly, but you are not done yet, in fact, there is a lot more work to do because this is just the first layer of backlinks.

You still need to take all of those brand new sites that you created and build backlinks to THOSE sites. (i hope you get what i mean)

Easy Link Management Tip

You can keep track of all these links by putting them into a spreadsheet and saving it in to a folder on your desktop. Then when you need to work on them, you can simply open up the spreadsheet and have everything available to you right there.

So now if you study that diagram, you will be able to see that we’ve taken all of the purple boxes (where we built our links first) and now we have gone to a ton of other sites with high PR and authority in Google and built backlinks on those sites pointing back to the purple layer. Now, at this point, you can just thousands of links to your purple layer and it will keep passing the page rank juice through your purple layer and finally back to your niche site.

Genius, But That Is A LOT Of Work…

I thought you might say that…

I used to do this whole entire process by hand, and lemme tell ya, it works pretty damn good. I have secured multiple, multiple top rankings in Google and had it down to a perfect formula. The only problem was that it would take me almost a weeks worth of work everyday to get the whole process built and completed.

I had found something that worked, but it was just way to much work for me to do a few times a month and maintain myself without working like 8 hours a freakin’ day on this stuff. I knew that there just had to be an easier way.

Here’s What I Discovered

I found this amazing web based software system that does this exact same process for me, 100% on autopilot. I just gotta plug in my content and this sucker with pump out about 1500 links to my site for me, automatically, every single month. That’s about 50 links a day and well under the radar for setting off any red flags in Google.

And not only does this software build the first layer of high PR links for you, but it will also build backlinks to your backlinks, getting you serious link juice and trust in Google that will shoot you up to page one very fast.

Why I LOVE The New Google Algorithm Update

Posted by MatthewNeer on Mar 8, 2011 in Marketing, SEO | 12 comments

Why I LOVE The New Google Algorithm Update

You might be shocked as to why I’m saying that because for many of you, this new update has been the “End Of The World”. When in fact, I have found that many of my top SEO rankings have actually began to climb the rankings despite this new Google Algorithm update.

So let me give you a little back story as to what many have probably considered before getting into SEO pretty heavily.

Should you focus on getting TONS of backlinks by spinning articles, using automated blog commenting software, and other link getting tools OR should you simply focus more on quality control of where you links come from and use services like Unique Article Wizard, Do Follow Diver, and The Link Juicer?

When I first decided to get into SEO, I had to make the decision to either focus on getting thousands of backlinks, yet run the risk of getting sandboxed or do things the hard way and manually get all the backlinks you need by doing some blog commenting, article submissions and other more organic methods.

What I want to cover in this post is first how the Google Algorithm has effected many of the top rankings from around the Internet and then second, how I am adapting my business to suit these new requirements from Google using some fresh new tools that are on the cutting edge.

Let’s jump right into it…

The New Google Algorithm Update And What It Means For SEO

As you may or may not already know, Google updated their Algorithm officially on Wednesday, February 23rd 2011 with a shift that could be detrimental to many peoples businesses. And the reason is most definitely exactly what you think it is.

If you have been following any of the products launching on Clickbank lately, you’ll know it’s all been about “Push Button This” and “Auto Profits That” and the sales pitch goes something like… “You are only 7 clicks away from making $123,496.45, just install the software, push a few buttons and KABOOM, you magically have thousands of dollars.”

And if you’ve ever taken a serious look at one of those products you’ll know that most of them focus around this new idea of Auto Blogging. This is where the “Gurus” have designed some kind of magic software that goes and pulls relevant content from other blogs and article directories around the web and posts them on your blog, thus creating this sort of rehashed content blog that Google USED TO love.

I was always quite skeptical about those kind of products because I just knew deep down that in time, Google will grow to loathe those kind of auto blogs. Essentially what was happening was that marketers found this massive loophole and then started exploiting it to the maximum, forcing Google to step in and patch this loophole.

I like to think of it like a “Gold Rush Effect”, where this new loophole or opportunity arises, similar to the Gold Rush, where people come from all walks of life to try and get a slice of the pie. Yet, just like the Gold Rush, very few people actually profit from the new loophole.

In fact, just like the Gold Rush, the people who got the richest during the little boom where the ones selling the shovels, or in this case, the software.

So What Does This Mean For SEO?

Basically, Google always has and always will want unique and original content on the websites they index and display in their search engine. If you want to rank high, you’ll need to give them that. Bottom line.

This new algorithm update has proven this fact once again. In fact, Google has taken a lot of authority away from some of the best Web 2.0 sites out there today and given it back to the little guy, the mini niche sites that actually help people get what they are looking for.

Again, weird how it always comes back to helping people get what they are looking for, isn’t it?

It’s always been my personal preference to write all my own content because I want the quality control. And on top of that, I’ve always looked for tools that can compliment my beliefs in this area. Meaning that I’ll only use a tool to build backlinks or spin articles or do any of that automatic stuff if it does it in a human like way. Know what I mean?

What Google Does NOT Want To See On Your Websites

Google has just put the smack down on any websites that have duplicate content. What I’ve done is compiled a list of all the kinds of things that you SHOULDN’T be doing if you want to pull a first page rankings in today’s fast pace SEO marketplace.

• If you are scraping the web and pulling content together for the purpose of ‘blogging’. Please stop it!

• Are you using the same articles you wrote on a site like Ezine Articles on your main blog too and publishing them completely unchanged? Stop it!

• What kind of content do you have on your site? Is your content 100% unique in combination with totally rehashed, regurgitated blended in with it? Don’t get me wrong, you need your own content that is 100% unique, but you also need to be linking out to random, high quality sites to get some major Google love.

• Are you backlink all coming and going to the same place? You need to diversify your backlinks for long standing rankings. You should be linking to deep nested pages and getting a combination of various different backlinks from articles, blog comments, social media and other authority sites.

• Does you blog get comments? This is HUGE, due to Google caffeine update, they stated giving a ton of importance to blog comments because this shows that real people are interacting with your blog sites and more importantly, you need to reply to every single comment that comes through your site. This will dramatically boost your rankings.

What Kind Of Rankings Have Been Effected?

To show you just how dramatically this new Google Algorithm update really is, I wanted to go ahead and pull a screen shot from the guys over at Sistrix SEO. This chart will show you exactly what kind of sites have been effected and how much their rankings will drop or have already dropped.

As you can see, some of the major Web 2.0 authority sites took a major hit like HubPages and EzineArticles among many more. Previous to this very update, you would have been able to write a HubPage in a particular niche with low competition (under 30,000 competing pages) and basically rank on the first page for whatever keyword you were going after in a very short amount of time.

Unfortunately, this new update will keep that from happening as much. While you can still use those sites to pull super fast and super high rankings, you will need to be doing some more work. You’ll need to be creating very thorough and detailed articles that really do help people out.

Google has basically said this… No quality – no traffic.

What I Am Doing To Cope With The Big Google Change

While many people tend to run and hide when stuff like this happens, I have been keeping my ear to the ground in search of tools and product owners with the same beliefs as myself. And over the years, what I have found is quite the arsenal of tools and resources that will really help you get ranked to the top of Google in not only an organic manner, but in a way that Google perceives as totally natural and authentic.

A lot of people are upset that their software tools will now become looked down upon by Google and severely effect their rankings. While there is not to much I can do to help you out there because those software programs basically exploited a loophole until it got patched up. What I can do is show you exactly what I’m using now that is pulling me some top rankings in Google very easily and naturally.

Big List Of SEO Tools That Google Loves

#1 Unique Article Wizard

One of my major focuses on getting tons of backlinks has been the process of spinning articles and submitting them to hundreds of directories. Only problem with that now is that many of these directories don’t retain a high quality control, they accept content from scraper sites, they dont review their articles among many other things.

This usually ends up in Google giving that websites a lower ranking and less authority in a particular niche your write content for. And while spinning articles is a great way to come up with unique content, most article spinners don’t do a very good job of that. This is why I’ve found the Unique Article Wizard and its why they have done great things for me.

The guys Daren and Noel over at UAW (Unique Article Wizard for short) are really cool and they have the same basic beliefs I do about maintaining quality control. In fact, they believe in quality articles so much that they have a full time review staff on board that reviews every single article that comes through their powerful article spinning algorithm before it goes live.

That’s why over 20,000 article directories and site owners let them publish through their API keys. They have earned their trust because they have powerful, unique content that they can guarantee every time because they don’t let the trash through.

If you wanna check out Unique Article Wizard, I highly recommend you do so because they are the BEST article spinning service I’ve ever found online.

#2 The Link Juicer

The Link Juicer is another one of my favorite tools because they have and great way of getting you backlinks on a mass scale that appears 100% natural to Google because it is!

Basically what The Link Juicer has setup is a network of WordPress and MultiUser blogs that have all agreed to help syndicate each others content.

When you join The Link Juicer, you’ll get your first month free so you can test out there service and see how you like it. What it does is have you create a new campaign for each niche site you want to build backlinks to. You’ll have to spin a little bit of text to get your stuff accepted like a blog title, mini blog blurp, keywords, and blog text.

Once you’re done, you’ll be able to click submit and The Link Juicer will go out there and submit all these links to these various different WordPress blog and MultiUser sites automatically, generating you thousands of backlinks over time that will continue to fuel your SEO rankings for a long time to come. They set the maximum amount of links they build you to 20 per day so you don’t overwhelm the search engines. That will get you about 600 backlinks per month, and that is pretty damn good!

If you want to take a free trial of The Link Juicer just check out the link below to get your first month free.

#3 Do Follow Diver

This is a really powerful tool for getting some blog commenting done FAST. The Do Follow Diver is a tool that lets you type a keyword into their search engine and then kicks back a list of relevant websites that allow you to comment on them without having to log in or anything silly like that. They also only display blogs that are Do Follow only, so you know your comment will get maximum potency with the passing of the sites page rank onto yours.

You can also filter the search results here to reflect blog that have the WordPress Comment Luv Plugin installed on them. This will let you get a double bang for your buck, so to speak. Not only will you get the backlink to your main domain you want to build backlinks to, but you will also get a deeply nested backlink from Comment Luv that goes to your most recent post.

And if that is not enough for you, you can also filter the results by the top commentated blogs. Now you can get backlinks from very popular blogs so you know your comment will be indexed by Google and you will be given credit for that link very quickly.

I highly recommend you check out the Do Follow Diver, they have a great service for you to get quality links with fast.

Well I hope you really enjoyed the post, there was a ton of great stuff for you to learn from here and I hope that you took advantage of that. I’ll be sure to keep you posted on the newest updates coming out about SEO and anymore Google Algorithm updates that come our way.

SEO Optimization Software: The Best In The Business

Posted by MatthewNeer on Feb 15, 2011 in Marketing, SEO | 0 comments

SEO Optimization Software: The Best In The Business

SEO optimization software can be one of the hardest things to find online if you don’t know where to look. That’s why in this post I’m going to show you where I find the BEST SEO Optimization Software in the business. I think you’re really going to benefit from this blog post and would highly recommend you investigate further what we discuss here today.

SEO Optimization Software #1 – Traffic Geyser

If you are looking for an SEO Optimization Software that does virtually all the grunt work for you with basically no effort on your end except for creating the content and clicking a few buttons then this is what you need.

One of my favorite reasons for using Traffic Geyser is because it will distribute your content to over 30 different article sites, over 20 different videos sites and a bunch of social media, social bookmarking and web 2.0 sites all with the click of one button.

Traffic Geyser has been known to pull first page rankings in less than 24 hours. In fact on their sales page you will get to see a live demo of this powerful piece of SEO Optimization Software go to work and generate MULTIPLE 1st page rankings, all for one keyword, with Internet Marketing’s favorite degenerate… Frank Kern.

And what I love most about Traffic Geyser is Mike Keonigs lets you take a $1 dollar trial before you make a commitment to the full $97 per month. This way you’ll know if it’s right for you or not. Either way, there is virtually no risk whatsoever because for one measly dollar, you get full access to everything within Traffic Geyser, and if you don’t like it, just cancel before your trial period is over.

SEO Optimization Software #2 – Google Sniper 2.0

The Google Sniper 2.0 system was developed by George Brown who has been successfully building mini niche sites for years now and banking hundreds of thousands of dollars doing it. A lot of my SEO knowledge actually stems for what George taught in his first release of Google Sniper 1.0 and now he returned to do a full revision of the course, redoing every single video and even creating some new core modules, one of which is named the “Empire Module” which is where George goes over the new additions to the course and helps you really scale your SEO business up.

This is the for the person who wants to do it themselves. Maybe you don’t have the huge budget to pay an SEO firm to do the job for you or maybe you don’t have the budget to hire someone from oDesk.com or Freelancer.com to do it for you. If that is the case, then I highly recommend you check out George Browns Google Sniper 2.0 course because it’s simply fantastic.

SEO Optimization Software #3 – Bring The Fresh

This is yet another Do It Yourself type of product but I feel like its one of the best out there on the market today. This product was created by two 7 figure earners, Kelly Felix and Mike Long who have both had massive success online building mini niche sites for virtually anything out there online.

As compare to many other products out there I feel like Bring The Fresh is the most hands on SEO Optimization Software online right now because Kelly and Mike actually give you their personal mobile phone numbers once you become a member. And that is something you RARELY see happening online these days. It shows you that these guys are the real deal and are truly here just to help people out and help them make more money whether they are running a local business looking for more online traffic or doing the online thing where you build different niche sites and get them all ranked to the first page of Google.

With Bring The Fresh, you’ll know that you are getting quality service and top notch information. And the best part is, its only $97 bucks for lifetime membership. Once you join, you’ll get new updates for life. What a great deal. Check out Bring The Fresh today.

Well  that’s it for my SEO Optimization Software review, these are the things that I’ve personally used over the years to find great success online and are tools that I personally use every single day.

So let’s recap what we went over today just so you can get an idea of what will work for you.

1. Traffic Geyser – Most automated, push button software that I have found online that actually WORKS! I highly recommend it.

2. Google Sniper 2.0 – More Do It Yourself style but will definetly empower you will massive amounts of knowledge to rank #1 in Google.

3. Bring The Fresh – Do It Yourself with great support from two 7 figure earners, Kelly and Mike. Plus you can become a life time member for only $97 bucks.

I hope you found something here that suits your needs. I personally use all 3 almost every single day to dominate the search engines in multiple different niche markets and in thick or thin competition. I know you will be able to as well if you use what I outlined here today.

Always in the kitchen,

Yahoo Goes Under, Takes SEO Backlinks With It

Posted by MatthewNeer on Jan 25, 2011 in Marketing, SEO | 4 comments

Yahoo Goes Under, Takes SEO Backlinks With It

We all know that its no secret that the search engines, especially Google, don’t want us to know exactly how many backlinks we have, much less the ability to check on them whenever we want.

So if you’ve been wondering why it has been some dang hard to find backlink information lately, you’ve about to find out…

Here’s what we know, as an Internet Marketer I’ve never put much trust in Google’s tracking tools because they always tend to be a little bit skewed in Google best interest. So I’ve always relied heavily on tools like the Yahoo Site Explorer or other third party apps that pull data from Yahoo. And I believe its safe to say that many Internet Marketers would feel the same way.

I can’t help but point out the irony here. For years all of us marketers have been trying to rank in Google yet we have been using Yahoo, a competing search engine, to see how we are doing! RIDICULOUS!

Now do to the Yahoo/Bing Merger in October 2010, this powerful tool is also going the way of Google. This is because Bing’s stand point has always been the same as Google’s, meaning they don’t want you to have that data either.

Now if ya stop and think for a moment, who is the more powerful and influential partner in the merger? Obviously it’s Bing, so they get what they want and we get to loose yet another invaluable tool to the Internet Marketing industry.

So what are we going to do now?

Well the best solution would obviously be to have a massive database compiled by a privatized company who has no relationship with the major search engines. A private database that actually WANTS you to have all of this information, for you and everyone else.

It’s a good thing that the guys over at Majestic SEO have been doing just that. Over the years they have been compiling and archiving all kinds of juicy data that us marketers would LOVE to get our hands on. And the best part of it is that NONE of the search engines have any access or control of this data whatsoever. EXCELLENT!

However, there is a little downside to this approach as it sits right now. It seems that the database over at Majestic SEO don’t update that database as frequently as Yahoo at this point. From the research I’ve done, its going to take about 4 to 6 weeks for your data to be refreshed in their archive. This also largely depends on your site and the sites you have linking to your site. Obviously if you’ve got some high trafficked sites linking to you and are receiving a bunch of traffic, you’re going to get indexed quicker and refreshed faster than other websites.

I would suggest that you check out some of the free tools available to you at Majestic SEO and see what they can do for you. While they do have a few paid services, you can get access to much of their data absolutely free.

Something else you may want to check out is a free webinar that Majestic SEO is putting on to address this very predicament we are in right now. Go sign up for the webinar on their blog.

Free Keyword Research Tools – How To Find Succulent Keyword Gems

Free Keyword Research Tools – How To Find Succulent Keyword Gems

Hey there,

I’ve got some really cool resources for your today involving free keyword research tools for ya today. There are all kinds of things out there in order to find help you do keyword research, some of them cost money and some of them are free. But honestly, I have never really paid for any keyword research tools because virtually everything I need I can use for free.

So throughout this blog post, I’m going to show you exactly how I use the free keyword research tools out there to find those little keyword gems.

How To Leverage Your Blog To Get Top Google Rankings

One of the things I’ve noticed about having a WordPress blog over the years is that they start to pull in some pretty quick first page rankings after you’ve got some good backlinks established. The only trick to that is something that most bloggers let fall by the way side, can ya guess what that is?

KEYWORD RESEARCH!

Yes my friend, it’s incredibly mandatory that you do about 20 minutes of keyword research before you write ANYTHING on your blog. Here’s why… You see, many times you have a GREAT idea for a blog post and you just wanna start going at it. Which is great, but ultimately, you’ll never know if your targeting something people are searching in Google or not.

I mean, if you just took the time to type in whatever it is your wanting to write about to a keyword tool, like The Google Legacy Keyword Tool (my favorite one) you’d see exactly how many times per month a certain phrase is getting searched and you’ll probably get some other related keyword ideas just by typing that in.

In fact, when I was hanging out with my buddy Carlo Rossi the other night, I was just goofing around and I typed in a keyword phrase that gets over 800K+ searches per month with literally NO competition. Can you say GOLDMINE?

Yea, you bet I’ve got my sights set on this puppy. Gonna turn that into a real AdSense powerhouse, and if not that, something along those lines.

Anyways, point is you should really take the time to explore the Internet’s keywords and isolate your keywords before doing any sort of marketing, this way you will understand who you are targeting MUCH better and will be able to serve that niche in a much more timely fashion.

But hey, I could make this post much more in depth and go into WAY more detail about how I do this. But we’ll save that for another post because I want you to just go out there and start doing some research and see what you can find.

The only resource you’ll need for now is the free Google Legacy Keyword Tool.

Have a SMASHING evening,
Matthew Neer

The Google “Click Shift” Has Begun…

Posted by MatthewNeer on Jul 27, 2010 in Featured Articles, SEO | 0 comments

Have you been using Google Adwords or other forms of paid advertising with nothing but intense frustration?

Does it seem like less and less people are clicking on your PPC ads on Google?

Are you getting beat by some young hot shots that seem to rank #1 on Google’s organic results and pissed off about it?

Well for good reason, recently some very interesting studies have been released literally PROVING that people have become wise to ads on Google and are now intentionally avoiding them and going straight to the organic search results right away.

I was going through a PDF my buddy sent me a few days ago and when I came across this very fascinating heat map. You do know what a heat map is right? Th0se weird looking graphs that show the places on a computer screen peoples eyes go to first. Just have a look at this screen shot that I took from the PDF.

As you can see, the first, second and third results get MASSIVE attention while the ads on the right hand side appear almost invisible from a users perspective. What this should tell you is that the marketplace is EVOLVING. Just like billboard ads and print ads have slowly become less and less effective overtime as their subject audience has grown wise to them. The EXACT same thing is happening now with Pay Per Click, just like it happened with Banner Ads a few years ago now.

However, that DOES NOT mean that PPC or Banner Ads have become obsolete, just like print ads and billboards have not. What it means is that people are now wise to advertisements and actively avoid them, yet the ones looking for what an ad is offering will always click on it. The click shares available will just be significantly reduced.

In fact, as I was going through this awesome PDF report, I came across another very interesting development. It seems that, and studies prove that, PPC ads on Google now only receive about 1-2% of the entire clicks available on that whole page. And that’s literally a fraction of what it used to be back in 2007.

I took another sweet screenshot from this PDF you’ll be able to download in a minute and here it shows the actual percentage of clicks that the first organic search result gets versus the amount of clicks the first paid advertisement gets. And what’s funny, is that result #10 gets even MORE traffic than the first paid advertisement.

Let me just break this down for you real easy like. What this image is telling you right now is this, if you are getting 100 clicks PER DAY in Google Adwords, that means that your competitor, who’s ranking #1 is getting 1,000 to 2,000 CLICK PER DAY!

Yeah, that sucks huh?

It’s a rough life out there man, but fortunately I’ve got a really cool solution for you, it’s called education. You need to EDUCATE yourself on how to do SEO the right way. And believe me it’s not that hard, you CAN beat Google. You just have to know what you’re doing. And you have to do it in the right way, you have to put the ingredients together in the right format so that you can then add the “HEAT” and systematically dominate the first page of Google with ease.

Now what I was talking about right there was the “Ranking Triad” and it’s something you will learn more about in this PDF that you are about to download.

How To Use Traffic Geyser To CRUSH IT!

Posted by MatthewNeer on Jul 19, 2010 in Featured Articles, SEO | 2 comments

What Is Traffic Geyser?

Traffic Geyser is an automated distribution software that takes one piece of content such as a video that you have created and submits it to every single major video site doing for you in minutes what would normally take you hours or even days to do manually.

Traffic Geyser can also do this with articles. Traffic Geyser will take your video and transcribe the voice on the video into article format and then submit that article to over 30 of the most popular and most highly trafficked article directories.

While the concept makes sense and can save your A LOT of time, the real question at hand is this: “Does Traffic Geyser really deliver first page rankings?”

Well I’m happy to say that I have been using Traffic Geyser for a LONG time now and I have been achieving TONS of first page rankings in Google as a result. In fact, Traffic Geyser has been one of my secrets weapons that I use to get those rankings.

Just to let you in on a little reason as to why Traffic Geyser works so well is because it builds all kinds of powerful backlinks to your target page. Backlinks coming from places like YouTube and Ezine Articles are HUGE. They have a much higher Page Rank (PR) with Google which makes Google give more relevancy to those links and thus builds your target website to the top of Google faster and keeps it there longer.

I’m going to give you a list of some Google search queries that you can click on so you can see the rankings I’ve achieved using Traffic Geyser.

The 7 Figure Networker – I created the Squidoo Lens
Dude I Hate My Job – Look for my blog post on this one
Protandim Review – I got two on this page and one isn’t even done yet, but it’s ranking #3.

Now I’ve got a TON more of these different rankings all of the web but I just wanted to show you a few that I have specifically used Traffic Geyser to get to the top of Google.

So to answer the question as the beginning of this post: “Yes. Traffic Geyser does get you to the first page on Google, fast!”

If you want to get Traffic Geyser I can get you a 21 day trial offer for only 1 measly little dollar. Go ahead and click this link below to check it out.

21 Day Traffic Geyser Trial Offer

Traffic Geyser has actually just released a new video that’s pretty freakin’ sweet! You can check that out below here. No opt in required.

Otherwise, what you need to do is go out there right now. Do some sub niche market research and discover some profitable niches.

Remember, you want to enter a niche where money is already being spent. One great way to do a quick test to see if a market is profitable or not is to type that keyword or phrase into Google and see if any ads come it. If there are a TON of ads, then you know the market is profitable.

Also, keep in mind when doing market research that you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. You simply need to find a market where money is already being spent and jump right on in. Because trust me, the water is already warm!

101 Ways To Build Back Links Fast

Posted by MatthewNeer on Feb 12, 2010 in Featured Articles, SEO | 18 comments

Everyone knows that building back links is a sure fire way to get good SEO rankings. But the problem is the process is very time consuming, boring, and tedious. Therefore people always try to find ways to beat around the bush. But the reality of this is there isn’t one.

With Google advancing their algorithm to pick up more and more intelligent information, it becomes harder and harder to fool them with fake or duplicate content. Google puts the majority of its trust into backlinks from legitimate websites that have a proven track record.

This means doing things like putting multiple links in a blogs comment box can be tracked to one IP address and those back links will get less credit. The search engines are smarter now and they get smarter everyday. The best way to impress them and get a high ranking and great quality score is actually with GREAT CONTENT. (who woulda thought?)

Some people may argue that Google will not always use back links as a relevant way to establish a website’s authority and ranking because they are always changing their algorithm and developing a better one.

Well I hate to break it to you, but link building is the primary way to establish great SEO rankings – it and looks to remain that way into the future. Links are the things that tie everything together on the web; without them we couldn’t connect with each other. Virtually everything on the web that connects two or more pages is some form of a link. Therefore it only makes sense that Google gives this dominance.

So without any further ado, let’s get into the nitty gritty of link-building tactics.

71 GREAT Ways To Build Back Links

These tips and tricks are going to outline some of the best ways to build powerful back links to lock your website into the Google top 10. You will encounter a few things you probably already knew about and uncover many that you didn’t. My goal here is to give you as many ideas as possible so you can experiment and see what works best for you.

People Are List Lovers

1. Build a top 10 list of [insert niche topic here] in the form of an article. People will feel inclined to link to these if you provide great, helpful content.
2. Build a 101 list. These become very popular on sites like Digg.com and often become an authority document. [big freakin' hint right here]
3. Create a top 10 list of myths in your niche.
4. Create an extensive resource list on a popular topic.
5. Create a list of gurus and talk good about them. Sometimes a little ego stroking is one of the best ways to get an “authority’s” attention and get them to say thanks or link to your website.

Accessibility (making it easy)

6. Make your content easy to understand so that people ‘get it’ right away and feel more inclined to spread and syndicate your content throughout the web.
7. Always spell check your content. Nothing spells unprofessional more than a misspelled word or an improper sentence. Do this especially if you want grammar buffs, like english teachers, to link to you
8. Make your site more trust worthy by including a picture of yourself so that people can see there is actually a real person running the site and not just some robot computer. Privacy policies help a lot here as well.

PPC As A Link Getter

9. You can buy relevant traffic with a PPC campaign through Yahoo or Google and drive them to your site. If your content is good then there is a chance that people will decide to link back to you no matter where they found your site. This will not only get you more exposure but will also help you become an authority in your niche.

Exploiting The News for Syndication

10. Syndicate your articles at Ezine sites like EzineArticles.com, ArticleCube.com, IdeaMarketers.com and so on. There are literally hundreds of these sites. The good thing about them is they all have great page ranks with Google so your article automatically gets high rankings and receives highly targeted traffic.
11. Submit an article to an industry news site in your market. Got a blog? Submit it to a website like blogburst.com. This will get more exposure to your website and possible new RSS readers.
12. Write and submit a press release. This may take some time to get it just right in order for it to be news worthy, but if done correctly your article could be picked up by popular bloggers, news sites, and so on. Submit them to websites like PRweb.com, PRleap.com and many more.
13. Keep an eye out for who picks up your articles and give them a thanks by doing something like a blog post on them; offer them an opportunity to do a guest post, and you name it. Be creative with it and have fun.
14. Exchange articles with other blogs.
15. Email a few friends or family members and ask them if they would link to your site if they found the information on your website useful or informative.
16. Write a post about, and link to, a company with news articles. They will usually link back to you in some way. This is probably easiest if you have a blog section on your website. Just do a Google search on ["your niche + in the news"]
17. Perform surveys on your website. This makes people feel important. When people feel like that, they link back to your site with tons of quality backlinks.

Social Bookmarking & Free Directories

18. Many websites like DMOZ allow free article submissions; so take advantage of it.
19. You can also submit articles to paid article directories.
20. Create your own directory based on your interests in life. Here you would implement a deep linking strategy where you link to articles within your blog. People will pick this up if you turn it into something truly beneficial to them.
21. Tag and bookmark sites you like at Delicious.com. If people like the content you linked to, they will naturally want to find out more about you and possibly follow the trail back to your website.
22. When you create something of quality on your website then you should ask a few friends on the internet to help syndicate it for you by Digging it, and tagging it up on Delicious. If you can get your post featured on the main page of Digg or another popular social bookmarking site, many other bloggers will see it and potentially create tons more backlinks for you.
23. Use SocialMarker.com to syndicate your blog posts. The website makes it super easy to submit to social sites one after the next and further get your content maximum exposure. It’s confusing the first time so watch the video.

Local & Business Links

24. Join the Better Business Bureau to gain credibility.
25. Request a link from your local chamber of commerce.
26. Submit your link to local government and city websites.
27. See if you can get listed at your local library.
28. See if other closely related businesses would be willing to link to your website or even do a link exchange.
29. Develop business relationships with other non-competing companies or individuals in the same field and often recommend their products or services to your following. You can do this with Tweets, business cards, links, emails, etc.
30. Create an affiliate product. Most of these links will not hold much SEO building power but they will increase your exposure. This increases the probability that you will get linked to. Plus it will make you some money.

Super Easy Links

31. Depending on your niche and your offer, you could use free classified listings like Craigslist.com among many others.
32. It’s easy to gain exposure and provide value on sites like Yahoo Answers by answering people’s questions or maybe even asking one yourself.
33. It’s easy to gain exposure and provide value on sites like Google Groups by answering people’s questions or maybe even asking one yourself.
34. If you run a good business, then you can consider submitting your website to Wikipedia.
35. It will take your less than 20 minutes to create a powerful Squidoo Lens that will make you look like an expert in your field and will also create a new link back.
36. Submit a story to Digg.com. You can submit an article, image, or video, so whatever you have that has the potential to stir up a little controversy would be good to add here. People love drama; give it to them.
37. Syndicate your RSS feed. You can submit your feed to various sites around the web, like Google Reader. And you can even customize the look and feel of your RSS theme with sites like FeedBurner.com.
38. Provide valuable information in forums. Most forums allow you to have a resource box where you can put the link back to your site. If you make good contributions, then people will follow the link.

Post Quality Reviews

39. Most businesses do not have an established online presence online even though they may have one offline. Therefore by doing a review on their website you can usually rank pretty well if you have a decent page rank score from Google.
40. Do reviews on new product launches from an unbiased perspective even if you’re going to include your affiliate link. Give people the honest truth and they will respect you for that and recommend your website to others.
41. Write a review on a competing company showcasing their pros and cons. Then recommend your website as the place to get what they need.
42. You can use Alexa to find related websites to write a review on and draw some alternative traffic streams that way.
43. Leverage the popularity of new technology. For example when the Nexus One was launching, I wrote a few reviews on my blog. Because I did it so early I got ranked in Google and shattered traffic records to my blog for the day.
44. If you buy a product or service and actually benefit from it then you can submit a testimonial. These will usually turn into links to your website which further increases your credibility.

The Blogosphere

45. Start a blog. Only catch is you actually have to post great content to it on a regular basis. Otherwise no one will bother reading it. People want current, up to date, events.
46. Link to other blogs from your blog. Every serious blogger tracks incoming links and their traffic sources. This is an excellent strategy to get noticed by them and maybe a get a link in return.
47. Post comments on popular blogs. While this doesn’t provide much search engine leverage, it will help other bloggers become aware of you and if you say something interesting in your comment, people will click on the link to your site and possibly start reading/linking to your blog.
48. Don’t forget to submit your blog to top blog directories around the net.
49. Technorati tags rank very well in Yahoo and Bing yet are not as relevant to Google. Even if your blog is brand new, you can still rank high on Technorati if you write an excellent post.

Design As Link Bait

50. Web surfers love stuff that is visually appealing. The use of Flash may not rank well in the search engines but a beautiful design will get loads of links.
51. Redesign your site using CSS. Beautiful designs can get recognized by authority sites in the web design field.
52. If you have a WordPress blog, consider using a more beautifying theme to really pull your reader’s attention. Many are free but the best ones cost a little bit of money like Elegant Themes.
Pay For Results
53. Hire a publicist. They are available all over the place. One great place to find people for hire and cheap is the Warrior Forum. You can find anyone for just about any kind of job.
54. Outsource your link-building campaign. You can actually hire someone to build links for you; just make sure you choose wisely before you pull the trigger.

Link Exchange

55. Now before you call me crazy I don’t mean simply trading links with just anyone. You want to only do this with real blogs run by real people who will actually send some quality traffic your way.
56. This should be obvious but people still make this mistake. The links you exchange should be relevant to the content on your site. The rule of thumb here is that you should only exchange links with people whose content you would still seek out if search engines didn’t exist.

Banner Ads & Text Links

57. You can buy banner ads on more popular websites that are relevant to your niche that drive traffic back to your site. You could use an opt-in offer for this technique such as an eBook download.
58. You can rent text link ads from a third party service to ensure that you get quality exposure. Text Link Ads is the best place to go for this kind of service.
59. If your website is established enough, meaning you get solid amounts of traffic, you can sell advertising space right on your website or blog.
60. Many search engines give priority to older, more established sites, so it may be more beneficial to buy an older domain with a good page rank than to try and start building one from scratch yourself.
61. Sell items on eBay and then donate the profits to a major charity. Often times the charity site will link to your E-bay auction site and your site as well.

To Sue Or Get Sued, That Is The Objective

62. How To Sue Google And Win
63. Get sued by a company everybody hates. One sure fire way for this to happen is blatantly copy a famous piece of work and then claim it as your own by blasting it all over the web. Then when you are contacted to take it down, simple refuse and say it’s original work. You’ll be in court in no time.

Freebies & Giveaways

64. Offer a contest. People love to win cool stuff, if you hold a contest with a few hundred dollars in prizes, people will link to you like crazy. It makes awesome link bait and can result in thousands of incoming links as people share your contest with others.
65. Create a tool collection. These kinds of pages get a LOT of link love. Just be sure it offers useful and original stuff. If you’re in real estate, how much do you think a mortgage calculator is worth?
66. If you know CSS, you can release customized WordPress themes with a ‘designed by …’ link back to your site in the footer.
67. Give away free stuff, like an eBook, in exchange for feedback in the form of comments on your blog.
68. Create a FireFox plugin. Just make sure you have a link back to your site on the download page. If your plugin becomes popular, then it could get featured on Mozilla‘s homepage and receive loads of free traffic.

Develop Social Interaction

69. If you are in a niche with a bunch of celebrities then try to find some “drunk” or “indecent” photos of them; they make awesome link bait. Then post them on your blog.
70. Take advantage of real world relationships. If you attend conferences about SEO, Social Media, or whatever your niche may be, go up and talk to everyone, introduce yourself and build  relationships. Then collect business cards and email everyone after the conference and suggest doing a link exchange or some other form of linking. This is a powerful tool to leverage.
71. Film interviews with other people in your niche over Skype. Record it with screen capture software and load that puppy up to your blog. These kinds of things spread like forest fires.

30 Ways NOT To Get Back Links

Below are some strategies you can implement if you want to get your site banned/penalized/restricted from major search engines. So take the following advice with a grain of salt and go easy. You might not want to implement some of these unless you’re really clever! ;)

Paid Directories

72. Submit your site to something like 200+ paid directories (averaging $10 a pop) that really don’t send you any quality traffic at all and sell non-related products.

Forum Spam

73. List over 100 websites in your signature file.
74. Only post where links are permitted to your website.
75. Post solely “me too” posts to simply build your post count in company with a link rich signature file.
76. Ask questions on a forum about who has the best product. In this case the product is something you sell and then create another forum account to only comment on how great that “product” is from the same IP address.
77. Ask the same questions on 50 different forums where you are a brand new member.
78. Create profiles on forums you never intend on commenting on.
79. Post on forum threads that are years old simply so you can post a somewhat related link to your product.

Blog Spam

80. Instead of signing a blog post that you wrote with your real name, you sign it with spammy keywords instead.
81. Start marketing your blog hardcore by commenting on others blogs with your first post. Add no value to your marketing except that you want everyone to read your blog right now and buy your stuff. Then you go out and literally assault all kinds of blogs with a comment saying something similar to that.
82. Say nothing unique or relevant in your comment thus making it appear like an automated bot hits their blog.
83. Even better, use an automated bot to assault their blogs with as many links in the comment as you could possibly think of. Oh and just for fun, you do this enough to see if you can make the server crash.
84. Send pings to every blog you encounter mentioning nothing specific, and instead just say how much everyone is talking about your post.
85. To put icing on the cake, you don’t even link to the sites that you ping. Instead you send them pings from posts that don’t even reference them.

Trashy Link Exchanges

86. Send a link request mentioning the page rank of your website. Nobody cares; go after a content match, not traffic.
87. Send out bulk emails offering link exchanges that don’t even mention the other party’s name.
88. Send out link exchange offers to the top SEO experts and even major search engines like Google or Yahoo.
89. Get links from damn near invisible sections of websites listing hundreds or even thousands of different off-topic links.

Spam People In Person

90. You ever been at Starbucks trying to have a relaxing cup of coffee only to get harassed by MLMers trying to get you to sign up in their business? Well do the same thing they do, except tell people to go to your blog and comment on everything.
91. When you meet somebody for the first time, ask them their URL instead of their name. Then as soon as you get it, make sure to tell them how important it is you do a link exchange.

Persistence Is Key

92. Email your list on every single post you make. Then in your email tell them how THIS post is going to solve all of their problems for the rest of time, but only if they comment, tweet, and digg it first.
93. Send a webmaster an email every single day of their life until they finally break down and give you the link so you will stop emailing them — only to find out it’s gone as soon as it went up.
94. Send emails about doing a link exchange to one particular webmaster all from different email accounts. (now that’s sneaky)
95. And if any of those don’t work, then offer the webmaster $1 for a link exchange and increase your offer by $1 every single day until they cave in and finally give it to you.

Get Links By Being A Complete @$$hole

96. Vandalize your town with graffiti in big block letters listing your domain name so everyone will know how cool you are. (also where to go to arrest you)
97. Make a giant sticker of your URL and put it on your car. This is a sure fire way to get laughed at on the road, and if anybody does go to your website from there it will only be for a few seconds to satisfy their undying curiosity. And if you’re lucky, they might even post some hate comments.
98. Send out thousands of email to all the top ranking websites across the Internet guaranteeing 4 inches to their penis. This is an excellent strategy if you’re an affiliate for Viagra.
99. Get thousands of stickers created with your URL on them and slap them everywhere you go around town. I’m talking like Starbucks, your local skatepark, the mall, street signs, and just about anywhere else you can think of.
100. Put your URL on an auto-tweet service like Social Oomph and send it out every single hour on the hour with a spammy message until you get your Twitter account terminated.
101. Buy a net gun like Rob & Big and walk around the streets blasting random people with it while shouting “This wouldn’t have happened if you visited http://YourSiteHere.com”
