So $499 bucks, not that much and you get a great business along with great products.

Next, lets examine the comp plan and see if there is any real money to be made here.

Elur has designed a linear matrix compensation plan which means that you will only get paid on the first 3 levels of Elur when new reps join your team making the sponsor 30%, the 2nd level at 15%, and the 3rd level at 5%. There is also a minimum PV (product volume) required to get paid out which varies depending on the level.

However on the PV (product volume) you can get paid out on up to 7 levels on the first level you will only get paid off of 5 orders but all the way on to the 7th level you will get paid on over 78,000 orders. Can you imagine the shear power of residual income at that level?

On top of that you will get a 10% matching bonus and a 10% builders bonus adding another 20% on top of your total residual income.

Okay, so if you’re reading this then you are probably either in Talk Fusion or are thinking about joining Talk Fusion like me. So here’s what you’re going to find within the contents of this blog post. And I want you to read this post with an open mind because I am going to cover some stuff that may potentially upset you if you are in Talk Fusion but I feel like it is MY JOB as a leader in this industry and MY DUTY to tell it to you like it is.

So here it goes…

First of all, I’m going to tell you that I THOUGHT Talk Fusion was a brilliant idea until today. I THOUGHT Talk Fusion had something truly unique until I asked a few more probing questions that revealed it for exactly what it is.

And second of all, you are going to learn why getting into that Zombie-like “my company is the best mode” and basically shutting your brain off to hearing anything you DON’T wanna hear about YOUR COMPANY is the big mistake you will EVER make.

But we are going to keep that one on deck for the moment and really just let that sucker warm up because right now we are going to talk about Talk Fusion and why I think it sucks.

So with that said, I’m not going to beat around the the bush. I’m just going to tell you right now WHY I will not join this company.

Talk Fusion‘s whole business pitch is video email. Well, their main product pitch anyways and I thought that was the most ingenious thing to ever come across my plate until I asked this fatal question.

I asked “Can you watch a video directly in a Talk Fusion email without clicking a link and leaving the page?”

The answer was a big heart breaking “NO!”

And honestly, that did break my heart because I was taking a serious look at this company until I heard that. Here’s why.

Essentially what Talk Fusion is doing is just inserting an image into your email that is just a “screenshot” of the video. You know, similar to how a YouTube video looks before you hit the Play button. Like this image to the left.

And then when you click on that image it redirects you to another website where you can watch the video for yourself, not inside your email account.

Really, I’m not even kidding, that IS ALL Talk Fusion is doing. And GUESS WHAT?! I can do the exact same thing with Aweber or GetResponse or virtually ANY other autoresponder service out there today. In fact, I already do this in all of my emails. If you’re on my list, then you know what I’m talking about.

Guess who else does this? …Mike Dillard. Yes, the big kahuna himself does this in just about all of his emails.

So what does that tell you?

Is Talk Fusion a scam? No, I don’t think so. That’s hardly the case. They simply turned an autoresponder company into a Network Marketing opportunity, which I think is quite brilliant and that’s why I was attracted to it in the first place. But it’s the fact that THE PRODUCT IS NOT UNIQUE that really turned me off.

If I can do the same thing as Talk Fusion in Aweber, for less money, why the hell would I join Talk Fusion? Sure I could sell it to a lot of people and make some money at it but if I don’t believe in the product myself. If I cannot stand behind the product and whole heart-idly say “Yes, I love this product and I will continue to use it for the rest of time.” then I honestly will feel like I am selling people another bologna juice. (see Dave Cook’s post for more on that)

At the end of the day, Network Marketing has provided so much innovation and prosperity to this country and really to the whole entire world that I think it would be foolish not to take advantage of it but you should only do so when you can honestly stand behind the product 110% and really believe in it.

For me, I simply cannot believe in Talk Fusion and therefore will never join the company. Bottom line.

However, there is a double edged sword to the concept of truly believing in your company, and it’s this.

If you believe in your company so hardcore that you literally become BLINDED by it, then you are a fool. I’m serious, but I don’t mean to offend you by saying that either. I want to open your eyes and rip those blinding goggles off your face because they will only continue to burn you in the long run.

I like to called this “Zombie-Company-Mode” and when you get into this mindset you really just cannot see the light anymore. You basically shut out any and all kinds of negative information about your company and simply refuse to hear it. Don’t become guilty of this my friend because it WILL BURN YOU and you will feel like a straight up dumbass after the smoke clears.

I know this because I have been very guilty of this exact same thing in some of my past businesses but the difference is I LEARNED FROM IT! Okay, I learned from my mistakes and allowed myself to grow through failure. You can do that too.

But anyways, like I said I was able to study my failures and grow from them as a result. The way I started doing that was by increasing my knowledge level. At first, when I came online I was dead broke, I had no money back then so I had to download all the free stuff I could to start putting the puzzle together. Ahh, how I love getting pitched on juice. It honestly amazes me how many new kinds of pitches people can come up with when they REALLY want to sell you something.

I thought I’d heard everything until just recently a chick came up to me while I was roaming the streets of Fresno on my skateboard of all things. So as I’m skating down the street this chick has the nerve to start waving me down and make me step off my board. (granted I was wearing a nice polo and kinda looked like an out of place businessman on a skateboard)

Anyways, I get off my board and this chick starts her pitch…

“How would you like to get paid to skateboard?”

At this point I was like “Whoa, you got my attention, whats up?”

She goes on “Do you know what residual income is?”

“Why yes I do.” I stated curiously.

“Well it just so happens that we (the juice companies name who I will refer to as Bologna juice from here on out) has a way for you to make money while you are out skateboarding, having fun, at work, and even sleeping. How would you like to get paid for doing what you love.” she enthused.

“Ahh, correction young lady.” I said with a smirk of confidence. “You said get paid FOR doing what I love, not get paid WHILE doing what I love. It’s obvious to me that I will have to sell massive amounts of the dreaded Bologna juice to achieve that kind of success. Plus, once I reach that level I wouldn’t be getting paid FOR what I love, I would be getting paid WHILE DOING what I love because they residual income would be in place.” I explained.

“You see,” I went on. “I honestly don’t have any such passion for selling Bologna juice to the world, and not because I don’t believe in the product, I’m sure it’s great but because I have no PASSION for the product. Believing in it is one thing. I believe that airplanes fly and cars drive but that doesn’t mean I have a passion for them.” I paused for a minute, then snuck in. “Well, maybe fast cars.”

“But you haven’t even taken a look at the product yet.” She interjected. “This is something truly revolutionary that is going to change the entire health status of the world, we just have to tell as many people as possible about it so they can see Bologna Juice for what it really is, Bologna.” she exclaimed.

“Really?” I said with my face pulling back into a sneaky looking grin. “And how to you plan on marketing this awesome Bologna Juice may I ask?”

“Just like this.” she said “Network Marketing, belly to belly sales, one on ones, you look like a savvy business person, even though you are holding a skateboard. Haven’t you done any of this stuff before?.” she asked in a serious tone.

I couldn’t help but giggle, you know, those little self pity chuckles when you know someone or something is way out of line, yeah, one of those! As I was thinking to myself how I should put the next words that come out of my mouth to this mildly attractive women.

“Honestly,” I said in the purest way. “Honestly, I couldn’t even fathom joining you in business because of the things I know about Network Marketing and more specifically about Network Marketing online. You see, I have the ability to generate an UNLIMITED amount of leads for my primary business online without ever lifting a finger because it all happens on complete autopilot.” I explained with passion.

“Literally, Network Marketing for me is like this; someone calls me up saying they want to join my business under me because they have already come through all of my training videos and all of my sales funnels that by the time I talk to them on the phone they are ready to sign up. Then I simply collect their credit card number, sign them up and plug them into my team training system and infrastructure where they then get plugged into all of this powerful training and knowledge and systems.”

“When you have a system like this in place you don’t have to spend your time wondering around the city trying to find new prospects for your business. Instead the whole world has literally just become your marketplace. Using the Internet and technology to leverage your time and your money to put your offer and your business in front of people who ACTUALLY WANT TO SEE IT makes so much perfect sense it’s almost stupid.” I said driving the point home.

“I mean, what a freakin’ idea huh. Putting your offer in front of someone who actually wants it, man, you guys are crazy.” I laughed.

At this point, this chick was pretty much paralyzed with information overload and really couldn’t even form the right words to respond to me. So I just whipped out my wallet, plucked a business card out and slipped it in the front pocket on her blouse.

I leaned in and whispered in her ear, strictly for dramatic effects. “Call me.”

Then I threw my skateboard down, took a couple of good pushes and was back on my way.

Well, I hope you enjoyed that interesting story. It sure was an exciting experience for me and what’s funny about the whole thing is the chick actually did give me a call a few days later and was absolutely stoked for what I showed her because she went to my website and investigated everything I talked about.
