Crazy Ass Japanese Skater

Posted by MatthewNeer on Jun 22, 2010 in Featured Articles, Skateboarding | 2 comments

This evening while I was getting my daily fix of radical skate videos I came across something particularly mind blowing.

You see, the island of Japan is quite the interesting place. They have basically no smog rules so the cars are fast, no restrictions on how fast technology can advance so the iPhone 4 over there is literally pathetic and they are also very short people so when they build handrails and stuff down stair cases its really low thus making it very easy to grind on those handrails.

I found this video of a crazy ass Japanese skater who has literally put together one of the most insane skateboarding videos I’ve ever seen. The type of tricks he does in this video I have never seen anyone do before here in America or anywhere else.

This type of skateboarding is very unique to the culture that has developed itself within Japan. You really need to take 5 minutes out of your life to see this video because I promise you, you will not regret it!

Skateboarder With No Legs Rippin’ It?

Posted by MatthewNeer on May 2, 2010 in Featured Articles, Skateboarding | 9 comments

know, one of the most common excuses I get when people talk about failure and what not is because they just can’t do it, or it’s too tough, it’s too hard, or whatever.

Well I got news for ya bud, it’s NOT.

I don’t care what you say because no matter WHAT circumstance that your in right now and what your trying to do to get out of it, I can guarantee there is somebody out there who has it worse than you and who is making it work!

And it doesn’t have to be Internet Marketing or anything like that in life. I can be ANYTHING.

Bottom line is stop complaining and just do it, as Nike says.

I bet you didn’t know that Nike was actually named after the ancient Greek God Nike who I believe was the God of Speed.

So with that said, check out my buddy Og De Souza on 411VM. He is a skateboarder who’s legs don’t work but yet he still RIPS it. He is able to keep up with the pros and throw down some savage bangers.

Watch the video and check him out!

I hope you enjoyed the video today, and remember, if you do what you’ve always done, you’re going to get what you’ve always got!

How To Live From Passion

Posted by MatthewNeer on Jan 28, 2010 in Featured Articles, Skateboarding | 5 comments

With the coming of the Internet Age more and more people are logging in online and searching for ways to make money. There have already been thousands that have cashed in on the Internet and hundreds more are creating success stories every single day.

But just like there are many successes there are also many failures. Often when someone new to Internet Marketing comes online trying to figure out how to make money online they tend to copy exactly what someone else is doing and duplicate it to the max. What happens when you do this is you become part of the sheep heard. You blend in. You look just like everyone else trying to “make it” online.

That is the opposite of what you need to be doing. You need to be the black sheep.

What Is The Black Sheep?

The Black Sheep stands out from the crowd. The Black Sheep is the first one to do something remarkable. The Black Sheep is the innovator, the catalyst, the leader, the entrepreneur, and the alpha.

Let me give you a literal example of a Black Sheep.

Meet David Walker, he’s a skateboarding fanatic (much life myself) and has been breakin’ bone for 20+ years now. It takes hard work and determination to keep at anything that long. That’s called dedication, and skateboarding is definitely one of the best teachers in the field.

While doing a massive frontside air might look super easy in a picture and might actually be really easy for David Walker to do in real life, now. But I can assure you that learning this trick was NOT easy. And in order to execute it this clean time and time again you have to eat shit over and over until you overcome your fear of falling. Then and only then will you be able to land it perfectly every time.

I can speak from personal experience when it comes to perseverance and skateboarding. I have been skateboarding for almost 9 years now and through my time on the board I have overcome many injuries, mainly ankles. I’ve injured my right ankle 13 times now, whether it has been a fracture, torn ligament or sprain I have had to let it heal and get back on my board every time.

Check out David hitting a SICK blunt to fakie!

Then watch him hitting this fresh tranny run…

Quitters Are Quitters

What if I quit along the way? What if I just stopped skateboarding all together because of an injury?

I look at it like this. Then what the heck did I even start for in the first place?

If you’re going to start something. FINISH IT! That’s it. All there is to it.

Because if you quit, everything you’ve worked for this far, all the progress you’ve made was ALL FOR NOTHING.

But you know what, I grew up skateboarding with all my closest friends on my block. And we were all REALLY good at it. Yet one by one I watched every last one of them drop off and quit. Some quit for injuries, some for girls, some for drugs, and some for work or other foolish reasons. Leaving me as the last one standing because I ALWAYS get back up, they didn’t.

That’s why David Walker and I connected so well because he’s not just a skateboarder but a Internet Marketing and MLM professional. (and here I am thinking I’m the only one)

Much of the determination and consistency skills I’ve learned from skateboarding David has too and has applied them directly into his business. From a young age David had the entrepreneurial spark ignited within him. At the young age of 23 he was running his own dry cleaning business, even though he didn’t know a darn thing about the business when he first started he learned quickly and was soon earning close to 6 figures in his early 20′s.

But due to a family tragedy David was forced to close up shop and move out to Florida with his wife where the sun is shinning and the skate scene of off the hook.

The Transformation

However, that was a pivotal point in his life. It caused him to do a TON of soul searching (and a little bit of skateboarding) to find out who he really was and what he truly wanted out of life. It was at the point that he realized it would be the home based business industry that would lead him out of the rat race once and for all. Despite what everyone said, he knew deep down that this was it.

The hardships didn’t stop there. David Walker’s upline liked to do this the old school way. Meaning harassing friends and family members, living by the three foot rule, and cold calling leads. David always knew these methods didn’t work but used them because that was all he knew.

That’s until he figured out how to leverage the power of the Internet to generate and endless amount of leads for his business by attracting people to him instead of trying to chase them down. Now he was using real business building principles that he could record and tweak down to a science.

Now David has acquired financial freedom and enjoys the luxuries of working from home having finally achieved the results he had been looking for all along.

Living From Your Place Of Passion

All of this was possible for David Walker because he chose to live from his place of passion in life. He chose to be The Black Sheep and stand out from the crowd even though many said he would never make it.

And you can chose to live from your passion just the same.

All you have to do is start asking yourself WHY. But don’t settle for some measly surface answer. Dig deep for an answer that brings you fulfillment and joy in life. Internet Marketing, MLM, and Networking may not be your true loves in life but they may be the financial vehicles that will give you the freedom to pursue your true dreams, whatever they may be.

Just know that when you live from your place of passion that anything is possible. Life is to short to have ANY regrets. Go out there and make it happen for yourself right now. You can change you life at any moment in time if you believe that you can. But either way you’re probably right…

Never Ever Quit!

This is something I have recently noticed that every single successful entrepreneur in the world has in common with each other. It’s something that you wouldn’t expect.

FEAR

That’s right, every single entrepreneur is terribly scared of something. And to figure out what that is you need to watch this video below.

It’s pretty crazy to think that most people are just WAY to scared to even get started marketing online because they fear what people think of them. My advice to you is to just get started, overcome your fears because they will do nothing but hold you back.

However, life always becomes easier when you are using the right tools. That is why I use systems when I do my online marketing. Systems are literally the determining factor in what makes or breaks you.

So here’s my bribe to you. Come and try the EXACT system I use to generate MASSIVE traffic & leads for my business for only one measly dollar. That’s it. One dollar for a 7 day, full access trial. And if you don’t like it, cancel.

Just remember this system is only for those who are seeking REAL results, not for people who flake and are not serious about creating true freedom in their life.

Top Gun Showdown

Posted by MatthewNeer on Jul 28, 2009 in Skateboarding | 9 comments

On Saturday, the 25th of July was one of the best skate competitions I’ve been to in a really long time. Maybe it’s because I was skating in it, I dunno. But what I do know is that some serious shredding went down. One thing I love about skate competitions is that you see people get into the zone and become totally present when they are skating. They end up pulling out some tricks that seriously blow the mind sometimes.

I skated in the Gap To Box section and freakin’ killed it. But the trick of the day has to go either Bryan with the Bs 360 over the gap to box or the Treflip Noseslide by Greg Love. Both were incredible. With that said I hope you enjoy the video.

Please leave some comments if you enjoyed this post.

Skateboarding Time Warp

Posted by MatthewNeer on Jun 16, 2009 in Mindset, Skateboarding | 0 comments

I’m sure jut about everyone has seen someone skateboard before. Maybe you’ve even seen a few pros skating and making it look SO easy while they are doing it. But I bet that you have never seen skateboarding at 1,000 frames per second! At that amount of slow motion, you are able to see skateboarding in it’s true complexity and artistry at the same time. It looks so insane that it appears to defy the laws of physics.

As you will see in the video below, there is absolutely no possible way you could do anything like this when you are thinking about it. You have to clear your mind of thoughts and really just your thinking in general. Embrace the stillness around you and let it sink in. Then you will be ready to skate to your fullest potential.

Right now I will show you how to too can take the concept of the power of now and use it in your daily life. As you will see in this video I show you a literal translation of exactly how I practice using the Power Of Now in my daily life. And how you can use it in yours as well. I know the concepts that this book contains are sometimes very large. It may take you 2 or 3 reads to fully grasp what Eckhart Tolle is trying to convey in The Power Of Now but I am certain that if you truly want to master your mind and your thoughts then you will focus intently on whatever it is you need to do in order to take back control of you. And put the Power Of Now to use for you.
