A lot of times you’ll hear other people in the industry ranting and raving about similar hosting companies like HostGator or BlueHost, and while they are still great services, they are no match for GoDaddy’s powerhouse of server farms. Here’s why.

Companies like Host Gator and Blue Host are actually classified as 2GH servers or 2nd Generation Hosts. This means most of the websites that you’ll find on their servers are typically small businesses, blogs and ecommerce sites all individually hosted on one server. Which can actually be a good thing because you’ll pretty much have a dedicated server for all of your websites.

And for the price range of around $4 bucks to $20 bucks a month, that’s not a bad investment at all. But here’s the real difference that will make a HUGE difference in the performance of your websites. It’s called a Cluster Server.

A Cluster Server is probably best compared to cloud technology. Essentially, your site is being hosted on a cluster of multiple servers, so if one of them goes down or another website on the same servers gets a surge of server melting traffic, your website will not be effected.

As you can see, the choice is obvious. GoDaddy is the only Hosting provider doing this right now, so by switching to GoDaddy or if you’re just starting out, getting an account with them will be the best choice you can make. You won’t have to worry about slow load times, down time, or anything else that could jeopardize your website and your business.

A lot of times, in the Internet Marketing industry, you’ll hear about people saying they sent so much traffic to a server that it actually crashed, hence how the phrase “Server Melting Traffic” became coined.
