I’m gonna go ahead and get straight to the point in this post because I know how frustrating it can be once you’ve built your niche site but just cannot seem to get the dang thing ranked, at all. Sometimes it doesn’t even show up ANYWHERE in Google for months at a time, and most the of the time, the reason why is because you don’t have backlinks…
Why Google Ranks Websites High And Others Low
You see, back in the day, when AdSense first hit the scene, people were able to just put a bunch of AdSense Ads on their site and Google would rank them super high because obviously they wanted to drive traffic to their advertisers. Yet overtime, search began to get stupid and they had to make some major adjustments to their algorithm.
The big change their made was creating it so that websites that has the most other sites linking to them would be ranked the highest.
So for example, if YourSite.com has 100 inbound links and YourCompetitor.com only has like 50 links, you would win and out rank them.
Search Got Stupid Again…
What happened next was that people would just find or create ways to generate thousands of links a day to their sites or more and keep out rankings each other. After a little bit of time passed, as you could image, search go stupid again.
Google has to rethink their search algorithm again…
This time they created something called PageRank or PR for short. Essentially what this did was give sites a “value” or “authority” meaning that sites that have been around for years and have nothing but high quality content would get a higher PR ranking than others. Google scores PR on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest possible ranking.
PR also scales in link authority, meaning that links coming from high PR sites are much more valuable than links from a site with no PR. In fact, a site with a PR of 1 is 100 times more valuable than a site with a PR of 0, and it scales exponentially as PR grows making a link from a site with a PR of 9 or 10 worth the most of all.
PR would then pass through that link to the website it was linking to, giving it massive link juice and boosting it up the search engines extremely rapidly.
Yet Another Algorithm Change
Once webmasters and marketers figured this out, they started doing things like creating thousands of fake Google account profiles and YouTube accounts and basically any other site with high PR, just so they could get links back to their sites and rank high in Google.
Again, as you could image, once Google caught on to this, they found potentially millions of fake accounts and had to make another big change to keep people from abusing the system yet again.
This time, they created was is known as DoFollow and NoFollow links.
What this did was basically regulate the passing of PR juice and it would give webmasters the choice to allow their sites PR to get passed through people who left links on their site in the form of a comment or guest blog post. This was an interesting choice because this was really the first time that Google gave such a large piece of this to everyday webmasters.
I guess they figured that it was better to let people make their choice themselves and let THEM regulate it instead of trying to manage millions of spam comments and bogus links themselves. Potentially a genius move on their part.
Where Search Stands Right Now
There have been a few other major updates lately such as giving a lot of weight to human interaction, in the form of leaving comments or sharing their sites on social media among other things. But for the most part, Google will still give you a lot of high rankings if you just focus on getting super high quality links and point those back to your money niche sites.
Some great places to get these are sites like Squidoo, HubPages, InfoBarrel, BlogSpot,WordPress.com and many others that let you create free blog accounts on their high PR sites. Doing this will get you some massive link juice initially, but if you do too many of these, it will ultimately look a little bit spammy to Google over time and thats not what they want.
At the end of the day, Google wants high quality backlinks that come in a natural way. You need to mix things up. You need to get blog comment backlinks, you need profile backlinks, links from article sites and other web 2.0 properties like Squidoo.
The Secret Backlink Strategy No One Knows About
What I’ve been testing like crazy right now and many other SEO ninjas have as well is getting your high quality backlinks, backlinks.
In other words, your BACKLINKS need their own BACKLINKS.
What you wanna do first is create a network of high quality sites like the diagram below.
All of those sites right there are all great places to go create profiles and get backlinks from. When you do this, you will see your site start to climb the rankings very quickly, but you are not done yet, in fact, there is a lot more work to do because this is just the first layer of backlinks.
You still need to take all of those brand new sites that you created and build backlinks to THOSE sites. (i hope you get what i mean)
Easy Link Management Tip
So now if you study that diagram, you will be able to see that we’ve taken all of the purple boxes (where we built our links first) and now we have gone to a ton of other sites with high PR and authority in Google and built backlinks on those sites pointing back to the purple layer. Now, at this point, you can just thousands of links to your purple layer and it will keep passing the page rank juice through your purple layer and finally back to your niche site.
Genius, But That Is A LOT Of Work…
I thought you might say that…
I used to do this whole entire process by hand, and lemme tell ya, it works pretty damn good. I have secured multiple, multiple top rankings in Google and had it down to a perfect formula. The only problem was that it would take me almost a weeks worth of work everyday to get the whole process built and completed.
I had found something that worked, but it was just way to much work for me to do a few times a month and maintain myself without working like 8 hours a freakin’ day on this stuff. I knew that there just had to be an easier way.
Here’s What I Discovered
I found this amazing web based software system that does this exact same process for me, 100% on autopilot. I just gotta plug in my content and this sucker with pump out about 1500 links to my site for me, automatically, every single month. That’s about 50 links a day and well under the radar for setting off any red flags in Google.
And not only does this software build the first layer of high PR links for you, but it will also build backlinks to your backlinks, getting you serious link juice and trust in Google that will shoot you up to page one very fast.
